Howard Charles Weaver

Howard Charles Weaver, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice. He was born to the late Dewey and Lola Reese Weaver on January 19, 1933 in Catawba County. Howard was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife; Ruby Brown Weaver of the Home, sons; Larry Weaver of Hickory, Rick Weaver and wife Cindy of Hickory, grandson; Miki Weaver and wife Kristi of Hickory, his only great-granddaughter; Dixi Rae Weaver, his pride and joy, sisters; Lois Deese of Hickory, Faye Weaver of Hickory, and brother Jerry Weaver of Hickory. A visitation will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Pastor Doug Price will be officiating the services. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 48. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, P.O.
