Born July 22, 1949, he was the son of the late James Henry Morrow and Ethel Mae Quinn Morrow.
Jay was self-employed as a carpenter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James H. Morrow, Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Nate Morrow of Swannanoa, NC; stepdaughter, Deana Kinman; 3 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday (today), May 30, 2015 at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory, with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating.
