Kimberly Michelle Newman, 28, passed away November 5, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital after 2 years of declining health.Kimberly was born August 21, 1985 in Mecklenburg Co. to James Michael and Kaye Plaster Newman.
She was preceded in death by her pat- grandfather, James Edwin Newman and mat- grandparents, Joseph Plaster and Velma Cannaday.Surviving are her son, Landen James of Hendersonville; parents, Jim & Kaye Newman of Hickory; sister, Katherine Elaine Newman of Huntersville; brother, Brian Paul Newman of Hickory; pat-grandmother, Jeanette Newman of Martinsville, Va.; mat-step grandfather, Johnny Cannaday of Martinsville, Va.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Brookford City Cemetery.The family will receive friends Friday, November 8, from 6:00-8:00 P.
