Born in Catawba County, on May 23, 1937, she was the daughter of the late E K and Teenie Mae Warr Hopper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Lane, her granddaughter Erica Lane, and her brothers John Hopper and Lawrence Hopper.
She is survived by her son Scott Lane and his wife Robin of Hildebran, her granddaughter Chrystine Caldwell and her husband Landon, and her great granddaughter Alice Caldwell.
A memorial service will be held, Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Deal officiating.
