Lillian Alvey

Conover – Lillian McGuinn Alvey, 91 of Conover, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Autumn Care Statesville surrounded by her family.

Born on January 3, 1930 in Rutherford County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Lynch McGuinn. Lillian loved gardening and being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 22 years, Leo Alvey and a daughter, Teresa Ann Kerley.

Survivors include, a daughter, Mary K Alwran (David); 2 sons, Robert Cecil Kerley (Barbara), Gary Eugene Kerley (Annette); 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm with

Pastor Jeff Brown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
