Linda Kay Hilton

Linda Kay Kirby Hilton, 83 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at Hickory Village Memory Care of Hickory surrounded by her family.

Born on August 13th, 1940 in Caldwell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Shafter and Lala Virginia Harwell Kirby. Linda was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Hilton, Sr., her brother, Bobby Kirby and her sister, Shelia Kirby.

Those left to cherish her memory include, a brother, Jimmy Kirby and wife, Janet; a daughter, Shelia Hilton and life partner, Rick Rogers; 2 sons, Bobby Joe Hilton, Jr. and Randy Allen Hilton; a grandson, Chad Kaylor; 2 great grandchildren, Jaclyn Eller and Hunter Kaylor; a great-great grandchildren, Jasiah Hernandez-Eller, as well as, numerous other family members.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hickory Village Memory Care in Linda’s name.
