Lois Fleming Bolick

Lois was born July 9, 1927 in burke Co. to the late Lee and Ethel Freeman Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Oscar Fleming and the 2nd husband, Horace P. Bolick, 2 sons, Gary and Mike Fleming, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

She was a member of Penelope Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and retired from Hickory Chair in the customer service dept.

Surviving are her daughters; Sherry F. Reid and Cindy F. Campbell and husband, Kenneth both of Hickory; grandsons, Tony brown of Conover, Allen McLaughlin of Marion, Eric Fleming of Hickory, Jeff Cline of Newton, Robin Fleming of Hickory and Ashley Fleming of Hickory, granddaughter, Lynn Bonnell of Florida; brothers, Willard Brown of Morganton and Sam Glasbrook of Drexel and a sister, Shirley Bradley of Valdese.

Services will be Monday, March, 12, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Penelope Baptist Church with Rev. Nickolas Wilson, Rev. Ernie Richards and Rev. David Bradley officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.

Interment will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
