HICKORY – Margaret Ann Amaral, 62 of Hickory went home to be with Jehovah on August 5, 2021.
Peggy was born on September 23, 1958 in Providence, RI to the late Alfred and Joyce Erickson Amaral. She was a huge Elvis fan. Peggy was an amazing cook who loved cooking for her family. She loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her granddaughter, Arieana. Peggy was a great mother to her girls despite her disabilities. If you knew her, you knew her. She either loved you or hated you, no in between.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Debra Sierra and Alfred Amaral Jr; brother in law, Jack Bryson.
Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly and Michelle Amaral; granddaughter, Arieana Williamson; sister, Gloria Bryson; nieces Krystal Guidry and family and Tiffany Jordan and family; and Jason mann and family in addition to several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; also her childhood friend, Susan Harnoise.
An Intimate Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 2 PM at Catawba Funeral Home.
