Hickory – Michael Earl Cline, 60 of Catawba County, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Born on February 24, 1963 in Burke County, he was the son of the late Lee and Grace Cline. Mike had a passion for anything with wheels and speed. He also loved working with his hands. He was loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by a brother, David Lee Cline.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his wife of 9 years, Donna Cline; a step-daughter, Olivia Rodriquez; 2 children, Daisha Johnson and husband, Jonathan and Dylan Cline; 2 grandchildren, Brayden and Bella Johnson; a sister, Linda Sue London and husband, Tom, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 3 PM at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Barlow officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 PM - 3 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring of Newton in Michael’s name.
