She was born on September 18, 1941 to the late George William Price and Emma Lovins Price in Cabarrus County, NC.
Along with her parents, her sons, Curtis Stewart Payne, Sr., Jeffrey Allan Payne; sisters, Nora Price, Dolly Price, Barbara Price, Wilma Price; brothers, Dennis Price, Bruce Price, Maynard Price, John Price, Henry Price and Bennie Price preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory include her grandsons, Bill Payne, Curtis Payne, Jr., Jonathan Payne, Jordan Payne; ten great grandchildren; great-great grandson, Easton Payne; sister, Audrey Price, brother, Gary Price; niece Kathy Cummings; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 until 4:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Arlie Roten will officiate the service.
