

He was born February 4, 1977, in Sacramento, CA, he is the son of Brad Hoffman and Rebekah Sue Bressler Hoffman. He attended Tri-City Baptist church and also Grace Baptist church. Nathanael loved his job as a mental health counselor for A Caring Alternative, LLC. Nate was a huge Carolina Tar Heels fan. His Christian faith sustained him throughout his lifetime. He has his undergraduate and master degrees from Gardner Webb University.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Benjamin Joseph Hoffman.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his parents; grandmother, Jeanette Cacchio; sisters, Brooke Hillman and husband Matt, Alison Tompkins and husband Hunter; nieces and nephews, Hayden, Harper Hillman, Kinsley, Arlie and Jeremiah Tompkins; devoted girlfriend, Katie Henson and her beloved children, Ian and Riley Henson.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, NC with Pastor Dan Kopp, Pastor Byron Repass and Dr. Hugh Whitfield officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Drum Funeral Home.
