Patricia was born July 31, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Beecher Powers and Lucille McClellan. She was a member of His Image Ministries Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jack Edwin Horton brothers, Wayne Powers, Bill Powers, Junior Powers; sister, Hazel White, Eileene Boggs and Connie McKown.
Survived by son, Jack M. Horton and wife Monica; daughters, Elaine Butler and husband David, Sharon Hill and husband Rusty; grandchildren, Christopher Horton and wife Darrah, Amanda Horton and fiancé Matt Black; great grandchildren, Clayton, Hunter, Elijah, Joey, George and Shelby; brothers, Carlyle Powers, Shannon Powers.
A funeral service will be held at His Image Ministries in Hickory on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2pm with Pastor Brad Spencer officiating. Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 12 to 1:45pm at the church prior to the service.
