Born in Catawba County on March 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Ray and Margaret Helen Burns Robinson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Edward Bumgarner, her sister Dorothy “Dot” Robinson Price, and her brother William Harry Robinson.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth “Alan” Bumgarner and wife Crystal of Conover, and Tim Bumgarner of Conover; granddaughters Jessica Winebarger and Anna Buchanan both of Conover.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 31 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Hickory Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Vernon Moyer officiating.
