Born in Guilford County on September 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James Roy and Mary Comer Easom.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Harrison Soots, her son Bryan Soots and a sister Dolores Phelps.
She is survived by her son, Matt Soots (Debra Potter) of Hickory; daughter, Theresa Allen and husband, Trent of Wilson, NC; grandsons, Matt Soots, Jr. of Hickory and Harlee Allen of Wilson; brothers Rev. Wade Easom and wife Judy of Kannapolis and Jimmy Easom and wife Linda of Wilson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm at Lifepoint Church.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Lifepoint Church with Reverend Wade Easom and Reverend Matthew Prince officiating.
A private burial will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery.
