Perry Ray Teague

PERRY RAY TEAGUE TAYLORSVILLE- Perry Ray Teague 78, passed away at his residence on March 21, 2015. Born August 7, 1936 in Catawba County to the late A. J. and Delphia Teague. Perry was a member of West Hickory Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish. Perry was retired, owner and operator of Perry’s Frame Shop of Newton, NC. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Teague; brothers, Robert Teague and Billy Teague and sister, Doris Eckard. He is survived by his children, Kenny Ray Teague and wife Teresa of Newton, Linda Houser and husband David of Longview, Christine Travis and husband Ricky of Newton, and Wayne Teague and wife Lori of Lawndale; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, James Teague; and sisters, Louise Bumgarner, Patsy Sipe, and Margie Christopher. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Catawba Funeral Home at 11am with Pastor Todd Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday, March 23, 2015 at the funeral home.
