In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2nd wife of 35 years, Sarah Warlick; a brother, Gene Warlick and a sister, Mary Hawkins.
Robert was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Hickory, and he had also served the Army.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph Warlick and Tim Warlick; 1st wife of 14 years, Mary Jane Coffman; daughters, Lynne Smith, Beth Sollid, and Scottie Scripter; grandchildren, Ashley Davidson and husband Chris, Emily Rhodes and husband Matt, Zachary Sollid and AJ Sollid.
A memorial service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home at 2 pm with Reverend Dr. Don Gordon officiating on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 with burial following at Catawba Memorial Park with Military Honors.
A visitation from 12:30 – 1:45 pm prior to the service.
