Russell "Rusty" Dean Cooper

HICKORY – Rusty Cooper, 66 of Hickory passed away on May 7, 2023.

Rusty was born on July 13, 1956 in Burke County to the late Clifford Cooper and Inez Mitchell. He was a local business owner and musician.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years, Amy Lyn Cooper; sister, Patricia Cooper Baker; nephews, Joshua Baker, Mitchell Baker, James Baker, Christopher Holmberg and their children.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 4 PM – 5 PM at Catawba Funeral Home.
