Stephanie Marie Ross

Born March 11, 1975 in Morganton, NC, she was a fourth generation Girl Scout and was a graduate of the Class of 1993 of Hickory High School. Stephanie was employed by Baker Furniture and formerly employed by Charter Communications, and Girl Scout Carolina, Peaks to Piedmont. Stephanie was an organ donor.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her aunt, Pat Ratcliff; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Stephanie is survived by her son, Brandon Michael Ratcliff of Hickory, her mother and best friend, Susan Ratcliff of Hickory, her father, John Frank Ross of Morganton, brothers, Jonathan Travis Ross and wife Jennifer, of Morganton, and Thomas William Ross of Hickory; aunts and uncles, Jo Ann Loggins of Morganton, Bill Ratcliff and wife Beverly of Statesville, Ann Edwards and husband Mike of Nebo, NC, Velda Kibler and husband Dave of Camanche, IA, and Debbie Bianchi and husband Tony of Clinton, IA; nephew, Alex Ross; niece, Sarah Ross of Morganton; and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Hickory with Rev. Susan Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.
