Tammy Rowe Meadows

Tammy Beth Rowe Meadows, 66 of Newton went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on December 26th, 1959, in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bobby E. Rowe and Patricia Rowe Eckard.

Tammy was a die-hard NASCAR fan and loved her Blueridge mountains especially in the fall. She enjoyed cardinals, Dogwoods, gardening, and star gazing.

In addition to her parents, Tammy is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Scott Meadows and brother, Patrick E. Rowe.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kari Beth Meadows; her grandson Michael Scott Mills; her sister, Angela Linder and husband Scott of Niceville, FL; her brother Bobby N. Rowe and wife Nancy of Monroe, NC. She has many nieces and nephews who loved her sweet fun-loving spirit.

A visitation will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. She will be laid to rest following the visitation at Catawba Memorial Park. Graveside service will be officiated by Chaplain Eddie Yount.
