Teddy Rex Mitchell, 75, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Novant Health Center in Matthews. Teddy was born October 7, 1945 and the son of the late Dayton and Cresel Landers Mitchell. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church in Brookford.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles; sisters, Linda and Arbutus.

Teddy was survived by his wife of 30 years, Regina Mitchell; sons, Richie Mitchell, Todd Mitchell, Jonathan Brown, and Zachary Mitchell; daughters, Angie (Tim) Johnson, Natasha (Bryan) Upchurch, and Jennifer Mitchell; brothers, Joe and Paul Mitchell; sisters, Juanita Jordan, Shirley Hinkley, and Donna Carr; grandchildren, Connor, Stefani, Hannah, Jacob, Brittany, Corbin, Brooklyn, Tearsea, Shadow, Nick, Josh and Cecily; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Camden, Landry, Remi, Ledger, and Wylder.

Funeral services will be held at Reflections of Christ Ministries in Hildebran, NC on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11 am with Pastor Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow service at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to service 10:00 to 10:45 am.
