Wayne Darrell Sisk

Wayne Darrell Sisk, born November 26, 1963, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Virginia Sisk, and his brothers, Tommy, Ricky, Mikey, and Dennis.

Wayne is survived by his beloved son, Christopher Brandon Sisk (Elizabeth Wise), his longtime companion, Zaneta Zombro, his cherished grandchildren, Lily, Preston, Penley, and Parker; and his one remaining sibling, Kathy Fortner (Ronnie). He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and his lifelong friends, Renea White and Ron Killian.

Wayne’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his wit, humor, unfiltered “honest” conversations, and love for his family. He will forever be remembered as a dedicated father, playmate to his grandsons, and overprotective Papa Wayne to his granddaughter. To know Wayne was an adventure all of itself. His fierce confidence and willingness to stand up for what he believes in will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held to celebrate Wayne’s life and the many memories he leaves behind from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.
