

Anne T. Puccio, age 91, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 14, 1932, in New York, New York, she was the cherished daughter of John and Bridget McGettigan.
Anne was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Puccio, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. She was the loving mother of John Puccio, Kathy Rowland (the late Danny), Sue Puccio (Stan Bangs), and Bob Puccio (Georgia). Anne was the adored grandmother of Sean and Meghan Rowland, and Theo and Alessandra Puccio. She was also the cherished sister of Sister Bridget McGettigan.
Anne found great joy in her career as a travel agent, dedicating 42+ years to helping others explore the world around them. She worked tirelessly at Liberty Travel in Levittown, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, Anne enjoyed bowling and tending to her beloved houseplants. She was an avid fan of the New York Mets and the New York Rangers, cheering passionately for her favorite teams.
Above all, Anne will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and wife. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.
A visitation to celebrate Anne's life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, located at 125 Old Country Rd, Hicksville, New York 11801. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:15 AM at Holy Family R.C. Church, 17 Fordham Ave, Hicksville, New York 11801. Anne will be laid to rest at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, New York 11590, following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to Hour Children, Long Island City, New York, a cause that was close to her heart.
Anne T. Puccio's legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
