Calvin Gleckler

Born in Hicksville, NY May 26, 1929. He worked as an accountant for Pfizer for 35 years and retired to provide tax services for friends and family for many years.

Calvin was a devoted husband to Patricia Conlin and survived by his children Eileen Walsh (Edward), Sharon Pasatieri (Dennis), John Gleckler (Maura), William Gleckler (Mary), Thomas Gleckler, Richard Gleckler (Tracy), and Carleen Payne (Brett).

He is survived by 18 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren.

Calvin was predeceased by his wife Patricia, daughter Patricia

Maddalena, grandson Andrew Simon Gleckler, and great grand-daughter Emerson Sechter.

Calvin was a US Marine served in the Military Intelligence Division. Calvin was also a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Calvin will be remembered as a hard working, caring, devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather who had a great sense of humor and compassion.

Visitation services will be held at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home located at 125 Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY, 11801, on July10, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Pius X RCC, located at 1 St Pius X Court, Plainview, NY, 11803, on July 11, 2025 at 10:30 am.

Interment will follow at St Charles/Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY, 11735, on July 11, 2025.
