Dennis T. Walsh,  NYPD Dective, 30 years with the New York Police Department.  Dennis was the husband of Kathy Dwyer Walsh and the father of the late Dennis (Denny) Walsh also  a NYPD Officer & Nassau County Police Department Detective Lieutenant.  He was the proud Pop-Pop of Amy L. Walsh & Savannah L. Walsh.  He leaves a daughter-in-law, Tracy Robischung Walsh.  He was the son of the late Anna Valcich Walsh and the late George J. Walsh also a NYPD Police Officer.  He was the brother of Georgie Walsh Marchese and brother-in-law of Philip Marchese, another NYPD Officer.  He was the brother-in-law of Pat Dwyer Kislowski & Raymond Kislowsk.   Dennis leaves  many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins & friends.  Our Dennis will be so missed by everyone who knew him.

Dear Dennis. Your death was such a shock for me.  I just did not expect your passing.  We had a little over 55 years married and knew each other for 2 and 1/2 years before marrying.  We shared so much joy together & also the sorrow of losing our only child, Denny, at age 40.  You  so loved to travel and in time I also enjoyed traveling.  I learned so much history from you & our travels.  I was attracted to you by your generosity which continues to the day you died.  You treated me as a princess and spoiled me.  It is almost three months since your passing.  I am getting a little better at being alone.  I picture you in heaven with you Mom, Anna, who died when she was 36 years of age & you were only 9.  I can imagine the joy of being reunited with your Mom, your Dad and, of course our Son.  Rest In Peace, Dennis.  Love, Kathy

Dennis, life will never be the same. Thank you for standing in and being a grandfather to Jonathan. Who is going to talk with him about history?  Thank you for all the special visitor's days and concerts that you attended. I wish that you could be here to continue to guide him.  You were a lot more than a friend to me. I will never forget you.
