I was very sadden to hear about Ed's passing, he was a great friend when we were growing up.  Ed was someone you always wanted on your team when choosing up sides for baseball and although many years have passed since I saw him I always considered him a friend.  My deepest sympathy to Mrs D and the D'Amico family. 

I don’t know where to begin in explaining my relationship with Eddie. He was and will always be my favorite person. He was my highlight at work. He was the person I looked forward to seeing everyday. He was my go to for advice and a shoulder to cry on and unfortunately the last few months I did that a lot.  He had the biggest heart and I will miss him until I take my last breath!  Eddie I love you and always will. You were my heart!

First thought I had was no, don't let this be true, not Eddie! Eddie was "Forever Young", forever. Eddie, my friend who lived for years on the same block as me was gone.  I'm typing this at 3am with tears and shock over a man I loved and respected, a man with the greatest smile and even greater heart that I had the privilege of knowing.  When all is said and done, I'm a better man for having known him, for sharing fun times with him playing music together, chewing the "fat" with him, just "hanging" with him. He always was great to be around and had a real gentle way about him, he always laughed at my silly spontaneous jokes and lightened my day when I saw him. He was and always will  be one of my all-time favorite persons that I ever had the privilege of knowing-Rest Easy My Friend!
