Helen Lenox

Our mom, Helen Lenox, age 92, passed away peacefully in the early hours of August 21, 2022. She was born on February 15, 1930 to Arthur and Anna Vincent of Jersey City, New Jersey. She was married to Albert E. Lenox Jr. on February 14th (Valentines Day), 1953. They moved to Levittown, NY in 1956 where they raised 4 children. She lived in that home for 66 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1997 and her two brothers, Arthur and Robert. She is survived by her children, Albert and his wife Bonnie, Arthur and his wife Nancy, Janet and her husband James Baker, and youngest son, John, as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. There will be a visitation Sunday August 28, 2022 from 2pm – 4pm and 6pm – 8pm at Wagner Funeral Home, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. She will be laid to rest on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd Calverton, NY 11933 at 11:00 am. As those who knew her can attest, mom loved animals of all kinds. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation in her name to the animal charity of your choice.
