We are so sorry to learn of Ines’ passing. She was such a good friend to my mom all these years. Ines, Tarry, Jo & Harry shared a lot of good times growing up in Mount Vernon & throughout the years. My mom still recalls the beautiful memories and how artistic Ines was. She especially enjoyed receiving her personally handcrafted  greeting cards.

My Mom was a "homemaker: in every sense of the word. She was always very creative. She loved to sew-- made our "first day of school" dresses, holiday dresses and Halloween costumes. She made the family matching outfits to wear to the World's Fair in 1964, for herself and Dad included- so we wouldn't get lost in the crowds. 
She shared that passion for sewing by teaching our 4-H club how to sew. She advanced to quilting (by hand) and taught that at Adult Ed. Mom made quilts for our weddings, for our children, for friends. Each one is a treasure. 

She loved making cards, whether hand painted or pop-up. She loved to paint. And earned her Associates Degree in Fine Arts at Nassau County Community College at the age of 50. She used art to express her best self.

Mom loved to bake, especially classic Italian desserts- cannoli's, ricotta pie, Easter bread. She has passed that sweet tooth to 2 generations! My Dad will miss being her taste-tester!

We always remember your mom; Dear Innes , cooking for you all,  showing us her Unique Quilts, and Beautiful Art Projects. 
Your Family was always so Special to Us. We cherish the memory of Innes and Armand’s  Beautiful 60th Wedding Anniversary Party hosted by 
Angela, Claudia, and Donna at your loving Home on Autumn Lane.

My Mom (Angela Caesar) and Ines (and Tarry) ...have been long time friends from Hicksville. My Mom and Ines shared the love of their families, cooking, sewing, crafting, painting, 4-H, and being consummate homemakers! I remember the delicious desserts that Ines always made. I especially remember Ines's sense of humor - Mom and her shared a lot of laughs together !  Rest in peace Ines - everyone in Heaven will want to learn all your wonderful skills ! You will be missed.

Although I didn't know Ines, I am sure you two shared a beautiful life together, as I remember Armand as a kind, generous, spirited fellow teacher at Division Avenue High School. I wish your family the best during this sad time. 

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of Innes, knowing she has been an anchor for her beloved husband and dear colleague.
Always a true joy to see her  participate actively with Mr. T at past held Levittown  Retired Teachers’  picnics, sponsored by Tom Cestaro and Jim O’Gara.
