We  were so very sorry to hear about Janice. She had a beautiful smile and a kind hearted person. I remember her radiant smile when we spoke about Snoopy and his doggie antics. She often spoke about dog rescue organizations and I could see her dedication to all those furry pups. We were very lucky to have known Janice and  Snoopy and Chester were very lucky to find such a good fur mom who loved them dearly.    Janice was a very special person who will be forever in our hearts.

I never met Janice, but she was my friend. I worked with her in Markel since she joined the company, but more closely over the past 4 years, speaking on the phone nearly every working day.   Me in Ireland, Janice in the US.  We both have a love of dogs and would spend time chatting about our pets.  We have a beagle and him and Chester would often contribute to our calls :-) Janice had a great work ethic. She loved her job, she loved helping , she loved working with people.  Janice had a great laugh, it was infectious.  I knew Janice had been sick in the past and continued to have things happen to her, but she never complained. Never. She had such a positive outlook, at least that was what was how she was with me. Her parents and brother and all her extended family and friends can be so proud of her.  I will miss my friend Janice.

You always loved the SC flag...we took endless pictures that night after dinner to get the flag blowing just perfectly in the breeze.

This video was shot by me(Sagar Shinde) on 26th April 2023 when we all team mates took some time out to play "Jenga". This was at Markel Insurance office in Glen Allen VA. 
I was always in awe of elephant memory Janice had. For all the projects that we worked on and delivered so successfully she had a lion's share in all that success. She was a dependable person. I personally learned a lot at workplace just by observing her working method, perfection is everything she did. This sad news of passing her came as a shock to me. Rest in peace genius. I will miss you.

I am numbed after listening this sad news. From the day I started working in USA my first project was with her.  I have worked with Janice closely in Markel Insurance. What an incredibly intelligent person she was. I always used to say that she had an elephant memory and extraordinary interpersonal communication skills. 
She was one of my most favorite coworker and I have learned a lot skills from her at workplace.
Rest in peace genius. Gone too soon but you will always be remembered.

I am so very saddened to hear of Janice’s passing. I was her dog walker for over ten years, starting with Snoopy. She loved her Snoopy & Chester so much!  She will be missed by so many. My heart breaks for you & Chester.  My sincerest condolences.

Janice was a great teammate and so respected by her peers and others throughout the organization for her caring spirit, her ability to make sense of complicated topics and her pursuit of excellence in all aspects of her work.  Our team felt the void when she was out over the past few months and will miss her voice of reason in the future.  Thoughts and prayers for her family in this difficult time.  

Janice was truly a wonderful person who will be missed by all who knew her.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Janice's passing.  I worked with her for several years at Markel and just had so much admiration for her.  Her knowledge of business and IT, her attention to detail, her due diligence, and just her everyday cheerfulness, demeanor, and willingness to go above and beyond to support the work our teams were doing.  I am so sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
