William “Billy” Kraynak, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 81. He was the devoted husband of Patricia for 46 years, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
His family was everything to him, and he took immense joy in watching his grandchildren, Morgan and Charles grow and thrive.
A true lover of the outdoors, Billy found great joy in spending summers in Montauk. He would often take his camper and camp right on the beach, surrounded by family and friends. Those days were filled with laughter, bonfires, and the simple pleasures of life , especially when fishing in the crisp Montauk waters, and creating lasting memories that would be treasured forever.
Billy had a passion for fishing, and Montauk was his special place. He found peace in the waves and the rhythm of the water, whether casting a line or sharing stories with family on the beach. The bonds he formed over those summers were as deep as the ocean he loved.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on February 19, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, located at 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801.
