Betty Meadows Stout

> Maryfield passed away Sunday, September 23, in High Point Regional Hospital.

> * Mrs. Stout was born April 18, 1928 in Guilford County, a

> daughter of George and Alverta Baker Meadows. She worked for several years

> at the High Point Furniture Market assisting in setting up the showrooms

> for various companies. Mrs. Stout was a devoted Mother and homemaker who

> began tap dancing class at Mallory’s School of Dance while she was in her

> early sixties. She was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. On

> February 6, 1952 she married Max William Stout who preceded her in death on

> August 30, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Oleen

> Kidd.*

> * Surviving are her children, Julie Page Stout Aman and husband

> Michael of Greenville, NC and Mitch Stout and wife Jane Palmer Stout of

> Trinity, and a sister, Hessie Faye Martin of Marietta, Ga. There are five

> grandchildren, Olivia Aman Fisher and husband Bentley, Carley Aman, Michael Aman, Magan

> Stout-Cobb and husband Beau, and Hanna Stout.*
