Cecil Allen Wright

Mr. Wright was born November 9, 1917 in Randolph County to Manuel A. and Jenny Kirkman Wright. He was employed with Vogue Cleaners for many years and retired from Fiber Dynamics Company in 1984.

Mr. Wright served in the U. S. Army during World War II

He was a member of Brentwood Presbyterian Church where he taught in the Sunday School and served as a Deacon. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by a son, Cecil A. Wright, Jr. two brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are his daughter: Jean Davis and husband James of Archdale, his son, David A. Wright of High Point, two grandchildren: Jennifer Swing and Edward Rollins and three great grandchildren: Zachary Rollins, Lilly Swing and Sammy Swing. Mr. Wright has one sister, Nellie Southards of Jamestown.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Sechrest Funeral Chapel in High Point with the Reverend Bill Wrenn and Reverend Jack Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
