Cyril Anthony Soltau

In the 1970's, Cyril embarked on a new journey, immigrating to the States in pursuit of opportunities and a brighter future. Cyril dedicated his life to his trucking business and to his family. His relentless work ethic and determination paved the way for generations of Soltau's to come. He also served as a mentor in the trucking community to many youth who aspired to follow in his footsteps as well.

Beyond his professional achievements, Cyril was also a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. Cyril was a pillar of strength and source of wisdom for his family. His love and guidance touched the lives of many. Cyril was a lover of music and a kind soul who always stopped for anyone broken down on the side of the road.

In 2018, Cyril faced the challenge of a cancer diagnosis with immense courage and grace. Moving to High Point, NC, he embraced the love and care of his family during his final years. At 88 years old, Cyril Anthony Soltau peacefully passed away on July 26, 2023 with his wife and daughter by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers who will continue to cherish his memory and honor his legacy. May he rest in eternal peace.
