

Donabelle Mary Betenbaugh, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on July 16, 1930, she was a native of Shawano County, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Betenbaugh was a graduate of the River Forest College as well as well the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She dedicated her career to serving as a special education teacher for many years and was actively involved with United Services for Older Adults. Her selfless contributions to education and community service left a lasting impact on many lives.
She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Olga Tews Kleman. Donabelle was married to William David Betenbaugh, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Betenbaugh; her son, Tim Betenbaugh and his wife, Teresa; and her sister, Ann Leurex.
As a member of the former Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in High Point, Donabelle was deeply involved in her community. Her faith and dedication to her church were evident throughout her life.
A Celebration of Donabelle's life will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 1 p.m at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 310 S Tremont Dr, Greensboro, NC 27403
In her final wishes, Mrs. Betenbaugh requested that her earthly remains be donated to science, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others and advancing knowledge.
Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all those who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
