Born on August 3, 1936, in Leaksville, NC, she was the daughter of Charles Edward Freeman and Mildred Irene Benson. She was retired as a seamstress at Acme Sample Books in High Point. She was a member of The Father’s House of Praise in Thomasville, NC.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Billy Ray Beeson, and her two brothers, Donald Ray Freeman and Rupert Alphus Freeman. Surviving is her son, Eddy Ray Beeson of High Point, and her much beloved dog Roxxy. Special recognition is given to Miss Erin Gordon, whom she loved and cherished as a “granddaughter”.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 4th from 6-8 p.m. at Sechrest Funeral Home in High Point. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Pershing Hagerman on Wednesday September 5th at 10 a.m. at the Sechrest chapel. Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC.
