Frances Hill Keener

Mrs. Keener was born March 18, 1927 in Morganton, NC a daughter to Eugene Valentine and Effie Rea Hepler Hill. She worked for 22 years as a supervisor with K. E. Manufacturing Company until her retirement in 1989, at which time she moved to High Point. She is a member of Ward Street United Methodist Church (Mission) and was active in activities as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Keener was married on March 7, 1957 to Dallas Texas Keener who preceded her in death on September 14, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister Vida R. Johnston and a brother, Everett B. Hill.

Mrs. Keener is survived by step-son, Ricky Dallas Keener of Winston Salem, sisters; Pauline H. Sykes of Trinity and Eugenia H. Atkinson, of High Point and her caregiver and niece, Cathy Shepherd of Greensboro. There are two step-grandchildren, Amanda Petrillo and Laura Keener and two step great grandchildren; Lilly Petrillo and Piper Keener and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Keener will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale with the Reverend Dr. Chris Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
