High Point – Mabel Lee Brooks, 91, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Westchester Manor. She was born on December 31, 1929 in Altavista, Virginia to the late William and Effie Pope Brooks.

Preceding Mabel in passing are her parents and beloved Pomeranian, Pity Pat.

Mabel retired in 1995 from the High Point Police Department after 44 years of dedicated service.

We would like to thank Mabel’s Westchester Manor Family for their loving care over the last seven years.

Memorials may be made in Mabel’s name to Stewart B. Hartley Endowment – Crimestoppers of High Point, PO Box 2222, High Point, NC 27261.

A graveside service for Mabel will take place on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 3:00pm at Floral Garden Memorial Park; Pastor Marc Cutrell officiating. The family requests that masks and social distancing be followed during the service.
