Margaret Seward Michael

Margaret was born in High Point, January 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Walter Cherry "Pop" Seward and Margaret Seward. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Margaret loved the beach, where she lived for many years, and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Michael and eight siblings.

Surviving are two daughters, Connie Johnston and husband Mike and Bonnie Garner and husband Ronald; a son, John Robert "Bob" Michael; six grandchildren, Leslie Long, Ashley Garner, Ann Perez, Tina Brower, Aaron Garner and Karen Henley; eleven great-grandchildren, Payton, Bailey, John Carter, Bella, Stella, Morgan, Karsyn, Lucas, Jonah, Annalice and Gabriel; two sisters, Gladis Fox and husband Buddy and Annie Dowdy and husband Don; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Craig Walker. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
