Margaret Marie Norton

Margaret Marie French Norton, age 72, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Marie was born in Guilford County, September 15, 1950, a daughter of the late William Darrell French and Joyce Faulk French. She was a graduate of High Point Central, Class of 1968. Marie lived in California for many years, where she met her husband, Ronnie. They returned to Marie's home town of High Point in 1990, where she worked in the furniture industry. Marie was a dedicated caregiver to her husband and family. Marie was of the Baptist faith and she was preceded in death by grandparents, Harvey Samuel French and Margaret French; Ray and Elva Faulk; step-grandmother, Purdy Faulk her uncle, Harvey Lee French.

Surviving are her husband of thirty-five years, Ronnie Norton; her sister, Pauline French; her step-father, Ed Gruenberg; nieces, Emily and Cameron Babich; sister in law, Julie Olson and numerous extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Marie's life will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 976 Phillips Ave., High Point, NC, at 2pm by Pastor Billy McDaniel. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m.
