She was preceded in death by her parents R.S., Sr and Maude Boss; husband Robert “Bob” Vernon Rose; brothers, R.S.(Oakie-Bob) Boss, Jr. and Francis Irving Boss; sister-in-law Marky Boss.
She is survived by her beloved family; sons Robert Craig Rose and wife Trisha, and Randy Vernon Rose and wife Margaret, and her daughter Jody Rose Howell and husband Greg.
She is survived also by grandchildren so precious to her; Chris Rose and wife Jennifer, Matthew Hubay and girlfriend Michelle, Jordan Hubay, Courtney Hubay, Madison Hubay and Morgan Hubay.
Other close survivors are her sister Sally Ann Cline (Paul), special cousin Elsie Mae Benson (Bill).
She is also survived by 3 great granddaughters; Catherine Hattie, Everly Grace and Virginia Jeanette; sister-n-laws, Linda Browning and Vickie Boss, plus many nieces and nephews, everyone special to her.
Bobbie was born in VA and lived with her grandparents, parents and siblings on Totomoi Farm in Hanover County, VA. After marrying Bob they lived in the Richmond area for several years then moved raising their three children in Newport News, VA. Later they relocated to High Point, NC for several business ventures. In High Point she became an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, in Sunday School, women’s groups, Circle #5, Bible studies; she was a Stephen Minister. She also was in several Bridge groups and had many friends in High Point and Newport News. In 2011 she relocated to AZ with her daughter and family, she loved the climate and area.
Moving back to NC in 2013 she spent about 4 years at Piedmont Christian Home and the last 10 months at Adams Farm Living and Rehab. Bobbie’s health steadily declined in recent years. She passed away peacefully on May 4th at the Hospice Home in High Point, NC surrounded by family.

The service to celebrate her life will be Thursday, May 9th at 12pm at Christ UMC of High Point. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 11am to 12pm. Burial will follow funeral services at Floral Garden Memorial Park.
