
Gray was a friend and companion to all who knew him. He loved the outdoors, loved to take walks. He loved his house and enjoyed cleaning it. Gray never had an enemy and never met a stranger, he loved people unconditionally despite their own faults. He enjoyed watching TV especially Dukes of Hazard, Barney and Matlock. His joyous disposition will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a proud member of Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church where he served as an acolyte.
He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac Gray and Margaret McGee Bowman. Survivors include his two brothers, Charles and wife Lynn Bowman of High Point and Roland and his wife Jill Bowman of Jamestown; nephews Roland Jr., Will, Beau and Bruce.
The family will be at the his brother Roland’s house 4144 Kivett Drive, Jamestown
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 3:00pm at Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church in High Point with Rev’s David Cook and Tim Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
