Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Floyd Watkins, 75, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at W.F. Baptist Medical Center following a brief illness. Mary was born in Randolph County, August 7, 1939, a daughter of Robert and Mattie Varner Floyd. She retired from Unifi after many years of service. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of forty five years, Andrew Watkins, and a son, Robert Watkins. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved her cats. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Watkins Davis and husband Robert and Karen Lynn Watkins; a son, John Scott Watkins; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and special friends, Cindy, Bill and Judy. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Davis Funerals and Cremations.
