Pamela “Pam” Loflin Crandall, aged 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 6th. She was the true embodiment of living life for others, and found pure happiness in being a caring mom, “Mimi”, wife, sister and friend.
Pam was born in High Point, NC to “JR” and "Billie" Loflin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony, her sister, “Missy”, and her special aunt.
Pam is survived by her son, Scott Thrift, and his wife, Morgan; her daughter Cayce Gordon and her husband, Reed; her grandchildren, Katelyn Thrift and Reece Gordon; her brother Steve Loflin, and her sisters, Teresa Davidson and Susie Monroe; and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
She worked full-time for Quest Diagnostics, and loved making friends at all the doctors’ offices she frequented. She looked forward to having taco lunches with co-workers, Kyle and Lucy. She was an animal lover, and caring for them brought her joy. Her weekends were devoted to spending time with friends and family, especially her beloved granddaughters.
A celebration in her honor will be held at Oak Hill Friends Church, 2001 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262 on Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, she would encourage donations to be made to your favorite animal rescue.
