Rena Bray Smith

Mrs. Smith was born on June 10, 1926 in Wilkes County to Thomas Grover and Elizabeth Dala Pilson Bray. She married David Anthony Smith, formerly of Burlington, who preceded her in death on November 1, 1974. There were no children. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Bray Sheffield, and brothers, Thomas Lee Reginald Bray, Roy Gilmer Bray, and Chester Wade Bray.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two nieces, two nephews, one great nephew and one great great nephew.

A Memorial service will be held in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in High Point at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1st with the Reverend David L. Umphlett officiating. The family will receive friends in the church hall following the service. Inurnment will be private in Oakwood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
