Sarah was funny, so very, very tender hearted, and generous. She was brave too and proud of her hard earned achievements. A hard worker and honest to the core, she had many people who loved Sarah for the very same things that I saw in her. Sarah enjoyed living and for someone who didn't drive, she managed to participate in multitudes of the Roy B. Culler Senior Center, Bingo at The Towers, dinners at the Cancer Center in High Point, the Ragsdale Art classes, the American Cancer Center yearly conference brunch, and the many meals at The Peppertree in High Point. She was incredibly proud of the dozens of grandchildren, great grandchildren a her children. She loved her son-in-laws and would grab any opportunity she could to put everyone of them on a high stool. Don't even get me started on the photos!!! Hundreds!! She loved all the babies and never missed an opportunity to to take a ohoto with them. Sarah never colored her naturally shining long black hair even at 77! Her beautiful black eyes sometimes twinkled with a spot of mischeif in them but what for I never knew for she loved the Lord and whenever transportation was offered Sarah jumped at the opportunity to go to a Bible preaching church. Sarah was a true prayer warrior too. There was no mystery about Sarah as her life, aside from normal discretions, was an open book. The world was a better place with Sarah in it but she left behind a spirit of tenderness, living life to the fullest no matter  your circumstances, kindness, trust, laughter and joy and a deep appreciation for ones achievements, whether they are appreciated by others or not!! What a walker she was too and a cancer survivor among other things.
