Sylvia Lou (Schultheiss) Hill

Sylvia Lou (Schultheiss) Hill passed on April 8, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born in High Point, NC, October 11, 1933, the daughter of the late Clarence Casper and Gladys Mcelwain Schultheiss. Sister, Betty Schultheiss Broughton of Clearwater, Fl preceded her in death. Sylvia was a graduate of High Point High School. On October 22, 1954, she was married to Earl Wayne Hill, who died, March 9, 1993.

Sylvia was a former employee of Alderman Studios. She also worked for BBS Studios, Mickey Printing, and Crown Printing. She also had her own business, Hill Typesetters for 3 1/2 years.

Sylvia is survived by two sons, Earl Wayne Hill, Jr. of North Richland Hills, TX, Casper Jerome Hill and wife, Sarah, of Kernersville, NC, Twin daughter's Sue Ann Hill (deceased) and Laura M. Hill Johnson and husband, Bill, of Winder, GA. Seven grandchildren, Christopher Michael (Hill) McCracken, Tempy A.C. Hill, William A. Hill, Bryan W. Hill, Christina M. Bunting, Jonathan A. Hill and Joshua T. Hill. Fourteen Great Grandchildren, April Celeste Hill, Alethea Faith Hill, Lucas L. Jones, Abryanna Mae Hill, Ryan A. Hill, Isiah A. Hill, Natalea Hill, Cameron W. Bunting, Wyatt B. Bunting, Aurora Leigh Bunting (deceased), Roger Bailey, Iris Jade Hill, Wyatt Oliver Hill and Emmett Carter Hill.

A Celebration of Sylvia's life will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1 p.m. at The Church on 68, 300 NC 68, Greensboro, NC 27409. The family will receive friends following the service.
