Willie Mae Greene Haley

Willie Mae Greene Haley, a lifelong resident of High Point passed away October 1, 2014. Willie was the daughter of the late William and Mae Greene and the beloved wife for 65 Glorious years to Mr. Jack Haley, also of High Point. Jack, who died December 23rd, 2011, is again in the arms of his love and best friend. Willie worked at North State Telephone Company in High Point and retired from Pilot Life Insurance Company in Greensboro. She was a member of both Main Street Methodist Church and then later, Christ United Methodist Church where she was a long time treasurer of ‘The Francis McFarland Class’ and a member of ‘The Joyful Sounds’, and “Koinonians” (The Line Dancing and Square Dancing Clubs). In addition to her husband and parents, Willie was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Johnson.

Willie is survived by one daughter, Debbie Mann and her husband Danny of New London, N.C., one son, Terry Haley of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., two sisters, Margaret “Boots” Hedgepeth and her husband,

Earl, of Albertsville, Alabama, and Ruby Smith and her husband, Bob, of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Tracey Bepler and her husband Dr. Gerold Bepler of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Daniel C. Mann, Jr. and his wife, Heather of High Point, N.C. and Nicholas Mann of High Point. Willie was also blessed with seven great –grandchildren, Tristan Bepler, Breiton Bepler, Isabelle Bepler, Christian Bepler, from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Haley Mann, Kenzie Mann & Spencer Mann from High Point, NC.

The funeral service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church in High Point, N.C. on Saturday, October 4th at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Jeff Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery immediate following.
