So sorry to here of Dale's passing. He was a great friend!


I'm so sorry to hear about a Dale, unfortunately I didn't know he passed, otherwise I most certainly been there, so sorry for the family. (Dales hairdresser)

Mr. Grable was a remarkable person who influenced many lives, including my own. He dedicated his entire life to helping other people and deserves an eternal reward.  R.I.P. Mr. Grable.

Sorry I will be unable to attend services. Thankful that I was able to see Dale after I heard he was not doing well. We had a very good visit. We both served on the boxing commission together and were able to accomplish some major changes that brought the sport to the 20th century in Michigan. Inside the ring we worked many shows together as partners. Traveling all over the State and overseas. It was fun and a great time. Thanks for the memories, may you rest in peace.

What a great man who always educated us in Amatuer Boxing.He was always supportive and  guided us in the right direction. Dale was our neighbor & friend for a couple years.  He would often stop by while walking Oscar.  Dale and my husband John would start telling stories & the next thing you knew both were laughing.  We even watched Oscar a few weekends for him.  Our condolences go out to his entire family including Oscar who I know was Dale's special companion.

Rest easy knowing you leave a legacy of fairness and respect.

The last words he spoke to me were "thank you".  No Dale.......thank YOU.  It was all my priviilege

Dale was a great guy and a great coach. He had a tremendous impact on the lives of the guys he coached and the sport of boxing. Ron, Mike and other family members will be kept in our thoughts and prayers.

I am truly sorry for the loss of a great man . My x-husband as well as my children all knew Dale in the boxing world from when they were very young as well as I did .He was nothing but good to us all and we were lucky to have known him . He will be missed . Mother of Cory ,Eric and Tara Hall .

A true friend, who loved the sport of boxing.  I suspect Dale was showing his sense of humor when my name went into boxrec as  Ray " Dale" Sayers.

Very sorry to hear the passing of Mr G. Mike,Ron all your in my thoughts and prayers.

The only thing that matched Dale's skills in the world of boxing was his honesty and dignity.  A tremendous loss to those who had the privilege of knowing him.  My sincere condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Dale's passing.  My wife is Dale's cousin, so I only saw him at family events like weddings.  Even though he hardly knew me, he always treated me like I was the most important person in the room. A really special guy!
