James Forrest Brendel Jr., age 85, of White Lake, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. James was born February 16, 1936 in White Lake, Michigan to James Forrest Brendel Sr. and Arlyce L. (Wheeler) Brendel. James owned and operated James Brendel Excavating for many years. In his free time James loved to fly his plane. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies and have a beer or two when the occasion arose.
James is survived by his children; Forrest Jay (Anita) Brendel, Kenneth Paul (Susan), Gary Lee (Candy) Brendel, Deanna (Joe Janik) Brendel; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his brothers William Brendel, Tom Brendel and Tim (Connie) Brendel.
James was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Sharon Brendel on September 6, 2021 and his siblings Terry Brendel and Beth Donelow.
