Kenneth James Spina, age 63, of Highland, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at his home. Left to cherish his memory are his two loving children: Shannon (Matt) Pickering, and Joseph (Melissa) Spina; his six grandchildren: Austin, Casie, Brandon, Caleb, Wesson, and Ashlyn; his six siblings: John, Gary, Irene, Jean, Linda, and Paul; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Kenneth was born July 18, 1959, in Pontiac, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Margaret (Hattas) Spina. He spent much of his free time playing cards with his family and friends; Kenneth also had a great passion for bowling. Some of his fondest memories were made with his pals from the bowling leagues Ken played on; sometimes even four nights per week! He also greatly enjoyed the camping trips he took with his family up north. He was a wonderful man, father, grandfather, and brother. Kenneth will be greatly missed.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret; and his two brothers, Raymond and Robert.
Kenneth’s family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland, Michigan 48356.
