Laurie was such a sweet, wonderful person.  I had the pleasure of working with her at Medilodge of Milford.  Her smile was always there waiting to brighten someones day! I lost my little brother in 1990-the pain never goes away-but over time...it does get easier. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.  I hope by seeing how much she was loved--it will help ease the pain.  Rest in peace Laurie.

Laurie and I worked together at POH. I worked under her as an aide, a nurse extern,and a graduate nurse. She was a mentor to me and I am thankful! She was a great nurse and friend!  We sure had some great times! You will be missed!

I worked with Laurie at Huron Valley Siani Hospital quite a few years back.  Laurie was a dedicaded Nurse who had compassion for her patients.  Her bubbly personality lit up the whole 2 east floor.  What a great person!!  God Bless her family as she is now reunited with her Daddy.

It was a great pleasure to work with you! You were such a caring, compassionate nurse and one could see it in your interactions with the lodgers  whom you made a difference in their lives.

There is a poem by Linda Ellis called "The Dash". I believe Laurie aka Lexxie in chat lived her Dash! Such a sweet person, her death shocked many. May she sleep with the Angels and watch over us all.

Even though we had never met, you were a dear friend for many years. It was touching to read how so many others loved and admired you too. An angel got her wings and I will miss you very much.

There are no words just prayers for love, courage and strength as you go through this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss, there is no pain worse than the loss of your child.

What an absolute pleasure it was to chat with her,she was a person with so much love,compassion,and understanding. She will be miss dearly.

I'm sure Laurie is in heaven with our Lord...We'll miss her but she's in good company. She's a vey sweet lady, and was a joy to chat with.

Laurie  I still have my red "Laurie Libby" purse you gave me.  Such a generous soul.  How sad for us but what a blessing to be with your dad in heaven.  I pray for your mom and Tom and Lindsey .you are now an angel that will watch over us.

No matter what you were enduring, either physically, emotionally, or both, you always had a smile on your face and a laugh in your heart. Laurie your laugh and kindness will truly be missed..... I will always have a place for you in my heart as you came to my home in 1990 each day I was going through radiation downtown for my cancer treatment.  While going through a yuchy experience, I was so blessed to have such a caring person come to my home and watch Brian (who was two years old) and watch him while I went.
